Attendees of MRO Americas 2024 Switch to Opti-Blast Products

Opti-Blast had a wonderful experience at the MRO Americas conference this month. There were over 15,000 attendees stemming from the commercial aviation maintenance industry and overall airline supply chain from over 89 countries. We were able to see numerous existing customers who were exhibiting or attending and are proud to say we met so many new airline buyers and lessors eager to switch to our products!  

Why do so many MROs want to switch to using Opti-Blast abrasive blast media products? Quality. There appears to be blast media quality issues from many US sources who also source products manufactured in China. Our customers know we are a US manufacturer in Texas with quality controls in place, so blast media performance is not an issue for them. MROs do not have time to repeat or elongate work or deal with low performing blast media. Nor do they have time to wait for bulk blast media shipments. Opti-Blast meets quality demands, supply demands, and shipping expectations. This is why so many MROs are switching to Opti-Blast plastic blast media both T2, T3, and T5 blast media and specialty blast media!   

We also encourage all seeking MIL-SPEC approved plastic blast media to make sure the suppliers claim of approval is legitimate. For example, there are no MIL-SPEC approved plastic blast media suppliers in China. At Opti-Blast, we go to great lengths to get our MIL-SPEC plastic blast media approval and have the certificates to show it.
